Coaching Panel for 2016

Senior

As we step in to 2016, we are thrilled to announce our finalised coaching panel for 2016. Senior Coach is again Simon Goosey, who will be ably assisted by David Wing, Luke Martin and new to the coaching group Shaun Clearihan. Shaun is a past premiership player at Cranbourne with senior coaching experience and will be a great addition to our team.

As for Wingy, his involvement doesn’t just end with the seniors as he has taken up the offer to coach our Reserves/Development team. He will be assisted by Ben Corrie and as it was in 2015.

Our Unders coaches are new appointments for 2016 with John Rich taking up the Under 19 Div. 1 side and Barry Purcell selected to do the Under 19 Development side. Both of these gents have extensive experience in junior footy through coaching and presidential roles and bring a wealth of knowledge that our younger players will benefit from.

Women’s

Our women’s teams have grown beyond our wildest dreams and that is in doubt due to our coaches Kris Smith and Keith Edwards. Kris, our clubs reigning premiership coach, will take his girls into the newly formed VFL-aligned competition. He will be assisted by Brett Andrews.

Keith, a great promoter and behind-the-scenes worker for not only Women’s football but our entire club, will again coach our Div. 2 side. He is looking for an assistant coach for 2016.

All-Abilities

Paul Elvish is again coach of our all-abilities team. In his first year last year, Paul did a terrific job with this great group of people and we look forward to another great year in the FIDA competition.

Supers

Justin “Bock” Hamilton has again agreed to coach our over 35’s side and Troy Bridgland will again be in charge of the over 45’s. The boys have come off a great couple of years and are expecting to again challenge for the flag.
